Maybe we really need to transcend "Open Source" and move towards more of a "community software" or "humane software" kind of direction that puts the focus on Freedom (similar to how Open Source works) but also on responsibility and care for each other and the infrastructures these systems establish.
The "AI" reactions really show how heterogenous the "Open Source" field and the people's and organizations' values are.

@livho Fühl ich total. Gleichzeitig hatte ich damals(tm) immer schlechtes Gewissen, wenn ich Mails von Studis dann zwei Tage liegengelassen hab, weil "ich muss mich gerade auf anderes konzentrieren".
@das_ulicorn Die Emails von Studis kann ich am späten Nachmittag oder Abend gut abarbeiten. Ich merke gerade, dass ich wieder mal nen Homeoffice-Tag brauche (und dabei bin ich gerade erst den 2. Arbeitstag wieder im Büro).

@pi Er versucht es jetzt nochmal per Telefon, weil es bei anderen Leuten, die von Kiel nach Hamburg gewechselt sind, wohl nicht diese Probleme gab. Entweder das klappt oder er muss tatsächlich Arbeitszeugnisse schreiben. Und ich kann die schlecht selbst für mich schreiben, auch wenn er mich danach fragen wird.
Ich werde in Hamburg definitiv erst unterschreiben, wenn das Gehalt feststeht. Ich gehe mittlerweile davon aus, dass ich nicht zum 1.8. anfangen werde.
Ich hätte gerne mal nen Arbeitstag
a) der nicht mit Meetings startet, nach denen ich erschöpft bin
b) der nicht einen Termin am späten Vormittag beinhaltet, vor dem ich ohnehin nichts hinkriege, sondern im Wartemodus bin
c) an dem ich nicht durchgehend alle paar Minuten in Gespräche verwickelt werde.
Zeitgefühl auch beim Bus fahren komplett kaputt. Das waren 7 Minuten, gefühlt aber eher so 15 Minuten.

Charging hotel prices and complaining that I left the Airbnb a bit messy? Surely I didn't fold the bed sheets when I left as they need to be washed before the next guest shows up and I didn't take out the trash but there were no instructions where to put it or how to leave the apartment on checkout. All instructions I had to search for in the Airbnb app, so as a host don't just complain but give instructions people can follow.
