Some point this year I tried to test the services queerit.org is offering including a Fediverse instance running on bonfire. This seems to be very buggy. My account there is @livho@social.queerit.org . When I log in into that account I can see most of my notifications I see here on my main account @livho . Basically all notifications with mentions of @livho regardless of the server. And the account mirrors parts of my main account as if it was sent by that account (Very visible from the public profile: https://social.queerit.org/@livho ). It also creates some other glitches where the account appears in the notifications of other people.

To me this sounds like a very bad bug that allows anyone to basically clone a profile of someone else and start interacting with followers of that profile.

@federnusskadse Ich bin auch so ungefähr alle halbe Stunde mal rumgegangen. Ich hab noch ein paar Chat Nachrichten geschrieben und dann Teile einer Reise geplant.

Ich schaffe es auch jeden Abend einen mentalen Tiefpunkt zu erreichen, wenn ich ins Bett möchte.

Wurde leider erinnert an meine Gedanken vor 6 Jahren. Ganz dunkle Zeit in meinem Kopf damals. Und die Pandemie hat nur dafür gesorgt, dass ich diesen Gedanken nicht mehr aus dem Weg gehen konnte. Ich will daran nicht mehr denken, aber doch muss ich irgendwann mal mit irgendwem darüber sprechen, sonst sitze ich immer wieder da und zittere wenn ich an bestimmte Teile meiner Gedankenwelt von damals denke.

@enn Wie? Wie kann man so entspannt da sitzen, vor allem ohne die ganze Zeit auf einen Laptop oder ein Smartphone zu gucken? Da würde mir ja nach 2 Minuten langweilig werden.

Bei der Klausuraufsicht heute ist mir mal wieder aufgefallen wie unglaublich schlecht ich darin bin still zu sitzen. Der Kontrast zu der Person mit der ich zusammen die Aufsicht gemacht habe war schon extrem.

@pi @sounddrill The special thing is, he's not doing his thesis with me, but his supervisor told me he should do a PhD, but the professor is not enthusiastic enough about hardware to offer him a position. But that's actually good for me, as it means the professor is not taking the students away I am interested in.

@sounddrill Not quite as drastic. I just asked a thesis student whether he ever considered doing a PhD. He didn't, but now he wants to do a PhD. So, I have a student. I don't know how you would call this recruitment style.

I found my first PhD student. Now I just need to find one more.

Heute ist das erste Mal seit 6 Wochen, dass ich an einem Montag arbeite. Die letzten 5 Montage hatte ich entweder frei (4 Montage) oder war bei einer Konferenz.

@proedie Pause, relax, tidy my flat, do the things that I never have time or energy for. So essentially I would like to pause the world around me. But the most important part would be to be free of all the thoughts, tasks, and responsibilities for once but in a way that I can continue afterwards and not stop it forever.

Die geschriebene Kommunikation mit ner guten Freundin funktioniert aus meiner Sicht gerade überhaupt nicht. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass alles was ich schreibe anders ankommt als ich es meine und jede Antwort fühlt sich an wie Kritik an mir als Person (auch wenn das da nicht so steht) und ich habe ne Tendenz zu heulen. Ich mag die Person super gerne, aber ich glaube ich sollte das mit der Kommunikation vorübergehend mal lassen.

Guten Morgen. Meine Motivation mich jetzt fertig zu machen und heute zu arbeiten ist echt gering.

Ich weiß jetzt schon, dass ich im Oktober wieder 10 Paper reviewen darf (zum Glück nur 6 Seiten Double Column pro Paper). Das ist der Monat in dem auch Lehre beginnt. Aber ich werde wahrscheinlich an 13 Tagen mit dem Zug zur Arbeit fahren, also kann ich an 10 Tagen jeweils ein Paper lesen.
